HRS Learning & Organizational Development and Modernization are pleased to announce the return of Elevating Cougs, WSU’s largest in-house employee development event, coming October 22 & 23, 2025!
Elevating Cougs is a two-day, virtual conference providing relevant, accessible, and actionable training and professional development to all WSU employees, regardless of their experience level, role, or location within the WSU system.
What’s new in 2025
This year brings several exciting changes to Elevating Cougs, including:
- New 90-minute workshop sessions featuring hands-on and interactive components.
- More practical how-to sessions focused on technical skills and tools beyond Workday.
- A new approach to the opening and keynote sessions.
Submit a session proposal
Interested in being a part of Elevating Cougs as a speaker? Session proposals for the 2025 conference are now being accepted. Learn more about submitting a proposal on this web page.
Elevating Cougs champions virtual, peer-driven learning, made for Cougs, by Cougs. All interested WSU staff and faculty are welcome to submit a session proposal.
Please note: Sessions should focus on professional and leadership development, or technical skills and tools, which WSU employees can immediately apply to their roles at the university.
